Love Lanes Festival
February 9 @ 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
freeLove Lanes Festival is an annual event held in Wyong in February, with a link to Valentine’s Day. It showcases Wyong in its best light with 3 lanes, 4 stages and 1 park. Explore hidden gems, discover forgotten laneways. This one day festival is a combination of colours, sounds and smells with the buzz, hype and vibe of an outdoor community street festival encompassing the theme of ‘Love’.
Coastwide First National Lane
Pull into the bustling ‘Coastwide First National Lane’ and indulge in some of the tastiest offerings from Wyong’s local favourites. Try some delicious street food, shop ‘til you drop at some of the retail stalls and take a romantic stroll under the twinkling lights of the piazza. This laneway is also home to the Bendigo Main stage, Coastwide First National Chill Out Zone and the Fish Bowl Arcade.
Bakers Lane
Pop into Bakers Lane and listen to the beats of the MADD stage. Bring out your inner child in the Wyong Baptist Church Kidz Zone, enjoy Motel Mezza’s licenced chill-out area, get lost in the array of activities and hype whilst forgetting about the hustle and bustle of the CBD.
Robley’s Lane
Take a stroll down Grand Hotel Lane and enjoy good times accompanied by great tunes and cold beverages in the licensed bar area. Explore the market precinct or relax on the spacious ‘Chapman Building’ lawn whilst enjoying the talented aerial performers and entertaining buskers.
Wyong Town Park
Explore an entirely new and exciting part of the festival this year at Wyong Town Park. Visit the stalls of our local community organisations and see how they share the love in our community. Enjoy FREE kid’s art and craft activities, get involved in the drumming circle and enjoy performances on the Wyong Town Park stage. Roll up and join in the interactive circus activities with ‘Roundabout Circus’.
Wyong CBD Heritage Walk
Walking tours of the Wyong CBD follow the newly installed Heritage signs that showcase the rich history of the Wyong township. The guided tours will be hosted by the Wyong Family History Group and will give you a peek into life in Wyong over 100 years ago. The tours will finish at the historic Royal Hotel – celebrating 130 years in 2019.
